Presentation
Located in one of the most needy neighborhoods in the municipal district of Rio de Janeiro, currently Vila Olímpica do Sampaio has been operating for 12 years, assisting about 1,300 children and adolescents, and 300 elders that enjoy sport and leisure as instrument of social reintegration, in addition to attract and encourage the growth of people, allowing the redemption of human values such as overcoming and individual valorization.

About Vila Olímpica do Sampaio
Today, with a team of employees and collaborators, Vila Olímpica do Sampaio develops several professional activities to guarantee the full operation of its13 thousand square meters, from Monday through Friday, from 07:00 AM up to 06:00 PM, which has swimming pool, multi-purpose covered court and carries out several sport activities, such as karate, soccer, futsal [indoor version of association football] and volleyball, driven towards young people; gymnastics, driven towards the third age. In addition to sport and leisure, the project offers support to students/athletes, rendering services of physiotherapy, dental care and occupational therapy. 

This Olympic Park already benefits and will further benefit several needy communities in the surroundings of Sampaio: Céu Azul, Rato Molhado, Dois de Maio, Jacarezinho, Queto, Matriz and São João, communities that concentrate more than 100 thousand residents in an area very well served of public transportations, such as bus, train and the road station of Sampaio.

Objective of Mantecorp sponsorship
The Vila Olímpica do Sampaio project seeks to the improvement of the internal facilities of the complex, looking for improvements for the sport practice and integration of the population assisted, as well as the gain in quality in health care of the local community.
