Partnership started in 2001 with the 17º Grupamento de Bombeiros Salvamar Paulista [Firemen] aiming at contributing to the improvement of the safety conditions at the beaches in São Paulo. 
 
It encompasses about 650 km of beaches in the coast of São Paulo, comprising 15 cities such as Santos, São Vicente, Guarujá, Praia Grande, Ubatuba, etc. Since the beginning of the partnership, Mantecorp has already reduced the index of drownings in this region by 50%, at least.
