Water use management and optimization, contributing to the preservation of natural resources and bodies of water (rivers), with installation and operation of the following systems:  
- Wastewater Treatment Plant  
- Reused Water Treatment Plant  
- Use of Rain Waters  
- Educational campaigns for the reduction in water consumption.

Control of Atmospheric Emissions

- Use of Gas Washers for the retention of toxic or polluting gases. 
- Use of Sleeve Filters for the retention of particles originated from productive processes. 
- Control of Black Smoke (diesel vehicles): it evaluates the emission of gases originated from the use of diesel in the fleet of vehicles used by the company.

Recycled Paper

Substitution of conventional paper for recycled one in printings, contributing to the awareness and good environmental practices.

Control of Solid Residues

- Execution of "selective collection"  
- Execution of recycling of 430 tons of residues per year. 
- Destination of industrial residues according to environmental requirements. 
- Promotion of the recycling of vegetable oil for food use. 
- Promotion of the recycling of industrial oils and greases. 
- Appropriate destination of "spent" lamps containing mercury.

Energy Input Reduction Program

- Investments and maintenance of equipment and systems for the reduction of electric power consumption and Natural Gas. 
- Educational campaigns for the reduction of electric power consumption.
